Typical of an event lead volunteer, you may expect to be involved in the following activities, in a supervisory capacity, leading a small team of event volunteers:

• Ushering
• Acting as an 'event abassador' (providing information to attendees)
• Stage assistance (eg. cuing performers, stage set up, etc.)
• Keeping the pavilion tidy (waste management)
• Other tasks requested that are designed to enhance attendees' 'customer experience'

• Friendly, outgoing, collaborative with the ROTARY club, its membership, and with others involved in the delivery of a quality CARABRAM cultural experience
• Solid communication skills (English, and fluency in other languages is a bonus)
• Prior volunteer leadership and 'customer service' and/or 'event volunteering' experience is a DEFINITE ASSET
• You embrace diversity, equity and inclusion in your community, and you view CARABRAM as an excellent opportunity to support/share multiculturalism
• You are committed to being punctual for your 'shift(s)', following instructions, then volunteering with minimal supervision

SCREENING will be virtual, unless otherwise advised.

ORIENATION & TRAINING will focus upon the 'roles' outlined in the DESCRIPTION (above), with emphasis upon leadership, and volunteers will be briefed on the requirements of RCMM's participation, as well as health & safety protocols required by the City of Brampton.
